Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 25,1957
Mrs. Susie Sanders, 56, 1023 Wide street, died May 16 at a local hospital.  
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Julia Rollins and a native of 
Southampton county, VA.

The funeral was held at Union Christian Church where she was a member, on 
May 19 at 1:30 p.m. with the pastor, the  Rev. Z. P. Jenkins, officiating.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by a son, Johnnie Rollins;  two daughters, Mrs. 
Ruth Blount and Mrs. Elise Charity;   one sister, Mrs. Annie Banner and four 
brothers, Richard, James, Charlie and Curt Rollins.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge.
