Norfolk - James Sanders Jr., 17, of 2617 Monrovia Drive, died Saturday at 11 
a.m. in a Norfolk hospital after a long illness.

A son of James Sanders Sr., and the late Mrs. Lucille Sanders, he was a native 
of Norfolk and had been a Booker T. Washington High School student.

Besides his father, surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ella Visor, Mrs. Ollie 
Prater, Mrs Josephine Porter, and Miss Betty Sanders of Norfolk; two brothers, 
Leroy Smith and John Gee of Norfolk, and two aunts.

The body was taken to the E. A. Hughes Funeral Home.
