She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sadie L. Jones and Mrs. Mary E. George of South Norfolk; three sons, Girtie S. Sanford, of South Norfolk, and J.T. and William H. Sanford, of North Carolina; three great-great grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one niece and two nephews. Mrs. Sanford was the widow of George Edward Sanford and a daughter of Edward T. and Millie Arrington Skillings. She was born September 7, 1846, in Portsmouth and had made her home in this section 43 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Portsmouth. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
