Norfolk - Olivia R. Sansone, 84, passed on September 1, 2012. Preceding her in 
death was her husband, Joseph A. Sansone, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, 
Juanita S. Thrift and husband Frank of Norfolk, son, Joseph A. Sansone, III of 
Norfolk; son, John W. Sansone and wife Donna of Virginia Beach; four 
grandchildren, John W. Sansone, Jr. and wife Rhemee, Nicholas I. Thrift and wife 
Michelle, Jessica S. Lahm and husband Patrick and Devin K. Sansone; two great-
grandchildren, Caleb U. Sansone and Savannah G. Thrift. In lieu of flowers, 
donations can be made to the America Cancer Society. A graveside service will be 
held Thursday, Sept. 6th at 11am at St. Mary's Cemetery in Norfolk.
