Virginian-Pilot  March 28, 1905
Mrs. Salvatora Sansone, mother of Antonio Sansone, of Norfolk, died at No. 187 
Chapel street, the result of the breaking of her hip, the accident occurring some 
time ago. The deceased was in the 85th year of her age and had been a resident of 
this city nineteen years. The funeral was solemnized from St. Mary’s Catholic 
church at 4 o’clock p.m. yesterday and was conducted by Rev. Father Edward J. 
Walsh. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery.
