NORFOLK — Augustus P. Sansone, 70, of 2723 Grandy Ave., retired merchant, died 
Friday in a hospital.

He was the husband of the late Mrs. Annie Frances Sansone and a son of Phillip 
Marchiore and Mrs. Anna Sansone. A native of Palermo, Italy, he lived in Norfolk 
most of his life and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John W. Bulaski and Mrs. Philip A. Sansone; two 
sons, Philip P. Sansone and Johnny P. Sansone; and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Tagliavia, 
all of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
