NORFOLK — Joseph A. Sansone, Sr., 66, of 1512 Holland Ave. died in a hospital 
Monday.

He was the husband of Mrs. Rose D. Sansone and a son of Cosimo and Mrs. Rosa La 
Russa Sansone.

A Norfolk native, he was a lifelong resident of this area.

He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Pilgrim Honor Degree, Norfolk 
Moose Lodge 39, Knights of Columbus. Surviving, besides his widow, are a son, 
Joseph A. Sansone Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Isadoro Spinella, Mrs. W. F. Hampshire, 
and Mrs. Marie Kelly; and four brothers, A. A. Sansone, A. V. Sansone, I. P. 
Sansone, and B. L. Sansone, all of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.

The Office of the Dead will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk, tonight at 8:30.

A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
