NORFOLK — Rosa Sansone, 86, of 7429 Spartan Ave., the widow of Cosimo Sansone and 
daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Antionette La Russa, died at 4 p.m. Saturday in a 
hospital.

A native of Trabia, Italy, she had lived in Norfolk for 67 years.

She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Isadoro Spinella, Mrs. W. F. Hampshire and 
Mrs. Marie Kelly, and five sons, Joseph A. Sansone, A. A. Sansone, Anthony V. 
Sansone, Teddy P. Sansone and Lawrence Sansone, all of Norfolk; 14 grandchildren 
and 15 great-grandchildren.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Pius' 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral apartments Monday at 
7:30 p.m.
