Virginian-Pilot  October 23, 1931
JOHN FRANCIS SANTOS, aged 47 years, husband of Daisy Eccleston Santos, and son of 
Frank and the late Rosa L. Santos, died at 4:10 o'clock this morning at a local 
hospital.  He was a native of Norfolk and a lifelong resident of this section, 
residing at 600 Beach street, South Norfolk, at the time of his death.

Mr. Santos was a foreman in the gas department of the Virginia Electric and Power 
Co.

Besides his wife and father, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Burrell, 
Mrs. Ellen Bevan and Miss Mary Santos, and one brother Manuel Santos.  Funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.
