The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday January 12, 1951
Mrs. Ida Harrison Satchell, 80, widow of Charles T. Satchell, died at the 
residence, 4301 Fairview Boulevard, yesterday at 2:40 p.m. She is survived 
by a daughter, Mrs. Dennis A. Roper, two sons, Robert P. and Charles E. 
Satchell, a sister, Mrs. Roberta Hudgins, all of Norfolk, two 
granddaughters, Mrs. Thomas M. Ricks and Miss Ann Harrison Satchell, and a 
great grandson, Thomas Wayne Ricks.
Mrs. Satchell was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of the 
Congregational Christian Temple. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
tomorrow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
