Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday January 13, 1951
Howard Oliver Saunders, husband of Mrs. Capitola Aydelotte Saunders, died at 
a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 7:30 a.m.
Mr. Saunders, a native of Hampton, and a resident of Norfolk for 30 years, 
resided at 5700 Hampton Boulevard.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Howard O. Saunders, Jr., of 
Norfolk; one brother, W.H. Saunders, of Hampton, three sisters, Mrs. Annie 
Barney, of Baltimore; Mrs. Alice Etheridge, and Mrs. Ella Collins, of 
Hampton.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 
2:30 p.m. by the Rev. W.W. McIntyre, pastor of Larchmont Methodist Church.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
