Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 28, 1992

Harry Saunders of the 2700 block of Border Road, a retired truck driver, 
died Oct. 23, 1992, in a hospital.
Mr. Saunders was born in Portsmouth. He had retired from Little Creek 
Amphibious Base after 38 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Saunders; a daughter, Cynthia Duke; two 
stepsons, Leroy Smith and John Smith; and a sister, Dorothy Lindsey, all of 
Norfolk; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Graves Funeral Home, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park, 
Virginia Beach. The family will assemble at 1020 W. 37th St. Apt. 2, 
Norfolk.
