Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 9, 1928

Mrs. Acey Nicholson Saunders, aged 55, died at her residence, London Bridge, 
Princess Anne County, yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock.  Besides her husband 
she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Dora Nicholson Ames; four stepsons, R.C. 
Saunders, Princess Anne County; C.L. Saunders, of Washington, D.C.; W.C. and 
A.M. Saunders, of Trenton, N.J. and a stepdaughter, Julia Saunders, of 
Princess Anne County.  Funeral services will be conducted from the residence 
tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock by the Rev. Mr. Reynolds, pastor of 
Providence M.E. Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
