NORFOLK - George A. Saunders of 1029 Tifton St. died Friday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Ralph and Mrs. Martha Saunders and the 
husband of Mrs. Alice W. Saunders.

He was a retired janitor of the Western Union Building.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Allen G. Saunders of Portsmouth 
and Ralph B. Saunders of Virginia Beach, and a sister, Mrs. Lula West of 
Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Pretlow Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Hilton Felton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
