Virginian Pilot September 16 1986

Essie Murray Saunders, 86, of the 700 block of Lincoln St., a retired housekeeper, 
died Sept. 14, 1986, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Saunders, the widow of James Saunders, is survived by a son Joseph Gibbs of 
Norfolk; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 
 A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Magnolia Cemetery 
by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr.  Viewing will begin today in Twilight Funeral Home.  
The family will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 805 Lincoln Street.
