Savage At the age of 61 years and after a continuous service of about twenty years as a conductor of the cars of the Street Railway Company, Mr. James T. Savage died at his home, corner of Omohundro and Thirtieth Streets, Park Place, yesterday morning. Mr. Savage was perhaps one of the best known men in this city. He had seen horse power give way to electricity and still continued in his position, being universally courteous to the travelers on the route. Last winter while in the discharge of his duties, he had an attack of the grip, from which he suffered until the time of his death. Mr. Savage leaves a widow and several children to mourn his loss. His funeral will take place from the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock and his fellow conductors and motormen of the railroad company will remember him by a handsome floral tribute.
