Virginian Pilot April 12, 1901

SAVAGE _ At his residence, No. 212 Claiborne Avenue, Brambleton, Thursday, at 
10:30 a.m., LEROY J. SAVAGE in the 48th year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the residence THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON, April 
12th, at 4:30 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to 
attend.

The many friends of Mr. Leroy J. Savage will learn with sorrow of his death, 
which occurred at the family residence, No. 212 Claiborne Avenue, at 10:30 
o'clock yesterday morning, after an illness of several weeks. The deceased was a 
son of Colonel A.J. Savage and was in the 49th year of his age.  He is survived 
by a widow and six children.  The funeral will be held from the above residence 
at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon.
