Savage, of Portsmouth, died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at the Norfolk Protestant Hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks. The deceased was a son of Colonel Alexander Savage, of Norfolk, and was 50 years of age. He was well known and highly esteemed. He leaves three children, John Savage, Judson Savage and Miss Virginia Savage, all of Portsmouth and two sisters, Mrs. T.A. Jones and Mrs. J.C. Hargrove, both of Norfolk. He was connected with the Planters' Manufacturing Co. The funeral will occur at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. A.M.
