Virginian Pilot Tuesday February 18, 1902
The funeral of Walter, the 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Savage, who died at 
the family residence, in Oakdale, Saturday morning, after a long sickness, was 
conducted from the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock and the interment was 
in Magnolia Cemetery.  Rev. S.S. Robinson, pastor of South Norfolk Baptist Church, 
officiated.
