Milton Savage Sr., 75, formerly of Washington Ave., died Feb. 15, 2000, in a local hospital. Mr. Savage was a native of Norfolk, widower of Lucy I. Savage and the son of the late James E. Savage and Bernice Savage Bates. He was a retired Supply Systems Specialist from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by four children, Thomas W. Hofler, Regina V. Baxton, Diane B. Riddick and Meredith M. Savage Jr.; his brother, James E. Savage; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Savage. A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. today at Queen Street Baptist Church, 413 E. Brambleton Ave., Norfolk, by the Rev. Dr. Peter Wherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Riddick Funeral Home is in charge.
