Virginian-Pilot  February 2, 1919
Mrs. Philomena Savasta died at her residence, Leo street, Friday. A native of 
France, she had made Norfolk her home for the past three years. She was 55 years 
old. She leaves a daughter, Miss Elaine Savasta, and a son, John Savasta. Funeral 
services were conducted by Rev. P. P. Brennan at St. Mary's Catholic church 
yesterday. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
