Leslie, age 5 years. Funeral services THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON, August 11, at 4 o'clock, from the residence of his parents, 218 East 27th Street. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. *************************************************************************** FUNERAL OF VICTIM OF AUTO AND CAR COLLISION TODAY The funeral of little J.B. Sawyer, the 7-year-old son of Mrs. D.A. Leslie, 218 West Twenty-eighth Street, who was killed in an automobile and trolley car collision at Twenty-seventh Street and DeBree Avenue, Monday night about 7 o'clock, will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the residence. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The child is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lillie May Leslie; his stepfather, D.A. Leslie; a brother, Willie Jason Sawyer and three sisters, Mrs. E.L. Creech and Mrs. J.W. Barkley, of Norfolk and Mrs. D.H. Cole, of Richmond. R.B. Grinnan, D.D., of Colley Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, the pallbearers being Sunday school boys of the Knox Presbyterian Church, associates of the deceased.
