Virginian Pilot March 26, 1904
Mrs. Mary J. Sawyer, wife of E.E. Sawyer, formerly of this place, died at the 
family residence in Lambert's Point yesterday morning after a lingering illness.  
The deceased leaves a husband and several small children in addition to a host of 
friends.  The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 3 
o'clock under the direction of J.R. Williams, of this place and the interment will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.
