Virginian Pilot July 14, 1993

Ralph William "Bill" Sayles of the 900 block of Charlotte St., a brickmason, 
died July 8, 1993, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Sayles was born in Norfolk. He was employed by Western Restoration.
Survivors include his wife, Loraine Sayles of Charlotte, N.C.; six sons, Lauren 
Sayles of Charlotte, Ralph W. Bell of Charleston, N.C., Anthony A. Bell of 
Chesapeake and William R. Sayles, Chevis Watts and Shannon Watts, all of 
California; a sister, Helen Huntley, and a brother, Nathaniel T. Sayles, both of 
Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Magnolia Cemetery by 
the Rev. Anthony Moses. The family will assemble at Carlos A. Howard Funeral 
Home, Norfolk Chapel, at 10 a.m. today and viewing will take place at that time. 
The family will receive friends at 921 Charlotte St.
