Mrs. Paolina Chiappini Scalco — Funeral services for Mrs. Scalco, wife of

Vincent 
P. Scalco, who died Monday 
morning, were conducted yesterday 
morning
at 10 o'clock 
at Sacred Heart
 Catholic Church by the Rev. E. C. Kiefer. The Rev. John Ryan
was 
present 
in the sanctuary. At the conclusion
 of the mass, Father Kiefer
paid a high

tribute to the Christian life and charac
ter of the deceased. During the
service,

Mrs. R. S. Ruggieri sang "Lead, Kindly 
Light," with Mrs. C. R. Davies as 
accompanist. Interment was in St.
 Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were

James 
McKevitt, Edmond Ruggieri,
 Joseph Montagna, Frank Montagna, J.
J.
Wulser, Joseph 
Ficcarra, Hugh Bernagozzi and Joseph Sansone. The casket was covered with a double 
cluster of Easter lilies, pink roses and ferns.
