Upon graduation she accepted a position with the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C. In 1970, she relocated to New York City and worked as a Senior Cost Accountant with Chemical Bank, where she remained for many years. A diligent worker, Anne continued to work for Bloomingdale's flagship store on 59th Street in New York City for 27 years as she commuted between New York and Virginia. She also continued the work began by her mother with the Hal Jackson's Miss Talented Teens Pageant for many years. Anne was a loyal and faithful member of Saints Philip and James Roman Catholic Church in New York for over 25 years as well as a faithful member of St. Mary's Church, her home parish in Virginia.
