Mrs. Elizabeth Seelinger Schanbacher, aged 64, widow of Herman Schanbacher and 
daughter of the late F. Joseph and Mrs. Elizabeth Stemmer Seelinger, died at her 
residence, 352 West Thirteenth street, yesterday morning at 9:20 o'clock. Mrs. 
Schanbacher was a native of Erie, Pa., and had been a resident of Norfolk 48 
years. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Marie Schanbacher; two sons, Harry 
and Steve Schanbacher; a brother, Joseph Seelinger, and a number of nieces and 
nephews.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which Mrs. Schanbacher was a member, 
for services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.

Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apart­ments tonight at 
8:30 o'clock.
