Herman Schanbacher — Funeral services for Mr. Schanbacher, whose death occurred 
Friday morning at the residence, 1307 Moran avenue, were held at 10 o’clock 
yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas 
E. Waters, pastor, officiat­ing. The Rev. Patrick J. Tierney and the Rev. Paul V. 
Heller were present in the sanctuary.

At the conclusion of the mass Monsignor Waters spoke of the con­solation derived 
from the sacra­ments and the comfort of the Cath­olic preparation for death. There 
was a large attendance and many floral offerings.

Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were A. J. Busky, J. 
McCourt, R. Walke, W. A. Seddinger, Leon Nowitzky, Paul L. Bryan, R. L. Whitehead 
and W. E. Edwards.
