Scheuerman, and one of the best known ladies in South Norfolk died last night at 10:30 o'clock at the family residence in Lafayette Avenue, South Norfolk after a brief illness. Mrs. Scheuerman, was a daughter of Mrs. Ruth Bell and the late James Bell of North Carolina, and had been a resident of this section more than thirty years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children, two sons, W.O. and George E. Scheuerman and five daughters, Mrs. H.H. Fisher, Misses Sophia, Janie, Mariah and Nellie Scheuerman and two brothers, E.L. and W.H. Bell, all of this city. The deceased was a member of the Liberty Street Methodist Church and was held in the highest esteem by a large circle of friends. The funeral services will be conducted from the residence Monday afternoon and the burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. ************ SCHEUERMAN - At the family residence, Lafayette Avenue, South Norfolk, Saturday evening, November 27, 1915, at 10:30 o'clock, Mrs. HATTIE SCHEUERMAN, wife of H.T.F. Scheuerman, aged 47 years and 9 months. The funeral services will be conducted at the above residence MONDAY AFTERNOON, November 29, and the interment will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends of the family respectfully invited to attend. ****************************************************** ***************** The funeral of Mrs. Hattie Scheuermann, wife of H.T.F. Scheuermann, was conducted at the family residence, Lafayette Avenue, South Norfolk, yesterday afternoon by Rev. R.N. Hartness, pastor of the Liberty Street Methodist Church and was largely attended. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Burial was in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery and the pallbearers were, L. McCloud, J. Winingder, C.H. Lambert, E.H. Whitehurst, O.L. Hanbury and J.H. Sykes.
