The will of Stephanie de Cous Schisano, who died Tuesday, was admitted to probate in the Norfolk City Circuit Court yesterday. Among the numerous bequests was that of her father's library, portrait, sword and Napoleonic relics to Rt. Rev. T. J. Shahan, D. D., rector of the Catholic University of America at Washington. To Rev. Thomas E. Waters, rector of the Sacred Heart Catholic church of Norfolk, she left a gold medal presented to her brother, Leon, by Napoleon III, for heroic services on board a French ship in this harbor when the members of the crew were stricken with yellow fever. She directed that the gold medal and a pair of old fashioned gold bracelets be used in the chalice of the new Sacred Heart church. She remembered a number of Norfolk people in her will, giving them pieces of antique mahogany furniture. The estate was valued at $3,500 and Henry B. Reardon qualified as administrator with bond in the sum of $4,000.
