NORFOLK — Harry A. Schmitt, 75, of 313 W. 32nd St., husband of Mrs. Mary E. 
Schmitt, and son of William Henry and Mrs. Lydia H. Vees Schmitt, died in his home 
Saturday at 10:50 p.m.

A native of Baltimore, Md., he had lived here most of his life. He was a retired 
pressman of the Burke and Gregory Printing Corp.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Eckert, of Richmond 
and Sister Mary Thomas, O.S.F., of Balti­more, Md.; and three brothers, Leo 
Schmitt, of Heathsville, and Frank Schmitt, and Richard Schmitt, of Richmond.

A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apart­ments Tuesday at 10 
a.m. by the Rev. Kenneth Rizer of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Bur­ial will 
be in St. Mary’s Ceme­tery.
