She was a native of Baltimore and had been a resident of Norfolk 37 years, residing at 2845 Cottage Toll Road at the time of her death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. A. W. Seeley, Sr., of Norfolk; Mother Mary Thomas, O.S.F., of the Shrine of the Holy Cross, Daphnes, Ala.; and Mrs. Joseph Eckert, of Richmond; four sons, Harry A. Schmitt, of Norfolk; Lee A. Schmitt, of Washington; Frank A. Schmitt and Richard J. Schmitt, of Richmond; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Frances Hoeck, of Baltimore. The body will be taken from the H D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King Catholic Church for services Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. ******************************************************************************* MRS. LYDIA HELEN SCHMITT — Fu­neral services for Mrs. Schmitt, widow of William Henry Schmitt, who died Friday, were conducted at Christ the King Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. B. J. McKenna. The Rev. Conrad C. Hoffner, the Rev. T. V. Cant­well, S. S. J., the Rev. Benjamin Horton, S. S. J., and the Rev. Vin­cent Warren, S. S. J., were present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were A. W. Seeley Jr;, Harry S. Seeley, Raymond Schmitt, Joseph Schmitt, Leroy Hogshire and George Miller.
