He was a native of Philadephia and a well-known resident of Norfolk for the past 20 years. Mr. Schmoele was connected with the Norfolk Navy Yard in the engineering department. He is survived by three brothers, H.H. and F.J. Schmoele, of Norfolk and Dr. J.M. Schmoele, of Los Angeles, Cal. and two sisters, Mrs. T.J. Latham, Jr., of Norfolk and Miss Lynd Schmoele, of Portsmouth. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ******************************************************************** William Schmoele - Funeral services for Mr. Schmoele, whose death occurred Wednesday, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, with the Rev. L.E. Smith, D.D., pastor of the Christian Temple, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Schmoele was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
