He was a native of Philadelphia, but had been a resident of Norfolk for more than 50 years. He is survived by five chil­dren, Mrs. Eugene Hickman, Mrs. T. E. Ingram, Miss Margaret, Cornelius, Jr., and Robert Schoonwagen; one sis­ter, Mrs. E. Fritzinger; two brothers, Edward and Peter Schoonwagen, and two grandchildren, all of Norfolk. Mr. Schoonwagen was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a member of Local Union No. 72, Stage Employees. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
