NORFOLK — John B. Schroeder, 65, a retired real estate broker, died July 23, 1987, 
in a hospital.

Mr. Schroeder, a native of Tope­ka, Kan., was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church and the Bernard L. Hines Chapter 21 of Dis­abled American Veterans.

Survivors include his wife, Mar­cella Reuter Schroeder; a daughter, Cheryl S. 
Thomas of Virginia Beach; and a brother, James H. Schroeder of Warrenton, Va.

A memorial service will be con­ducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, by the Rev. Daniel Kelly. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Memori­al donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
