The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark September 9, 1925
Mrs. Kate Schroeder, aged 90, died yesterday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock at the 
home of her niece, Mrs. McBride Webb, 1032 Redgate avenue. A native of Eastern 
Shore, she had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 10(or 19) years. Besides 
her niece she is survived by a nephew, J.C.W. Leatherbury, and four other 
nieces, Miss Emery Leatherbury, Mrs. Fred Emerson, Mrs. Joseph Wright, all of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. D.H. Atkins, of Montvale, N.J.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the funeral 
apartment of L.L. Williams, 3401 Granby street. The Rev. M.D. Marshall, rector 
of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
