NORFOLK — A Requiem Mass for Capt. Raymond F. Schulte, 48, of 1909 Maurice Drive, 
who died Wednesday in the plane crash near Hendersonville, N.C., will be said in 
St. Pius X Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. The Office of the Dead will be 
recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in 
St.Mary’s Cemetery.

He was the husband of Mrs. Catherine Bourke Schulte and a son of Mrs. Adelaide 
Phelan Schulte of Norfolk and the late Peter Schulte.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by four daughters, Catherine Schulte, 
Barbara Schulte, Patricia Schulte, Miss Mary Schulte of Norfolk; and a sister, 
Mrs. Stanley Paff of Levittown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the building 
fund of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
