Schultz, 86, of 1324 Cedar Road, died July 22, 2002, in a Chesapeake hospital. Mrs. Schultz was a native of Astoria, N.Y., and a resident of Norfolk for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Florence Cody Phillips and was preceded in death by her brother, Richard S. Phillips. She was the widow of George J. Schultz and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk. Mrs. Schultz was a graduate of Montclair University; member and former president of the Larchmont PTA; member and former secretary of the Parents Organization of the Southside Virginia Training Center in Petersburg, Va.; St. Annes Circle and former volunteer with King's Daughters. Survivors include four daughters, Suzanne S. Dukes and her husband, John, of Chesapeake, Carolyn B. Fritsch and her husband, Brian, of Manotick, Ontario, Canada, Rosemary C. Schultz of Brooklyn, N.Y., Donna M. Schultz of Petersburg, Va.; two sons, George J. Schultz Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Branchville, Ind., Edward A. Schultz and his wife, Wendy, of Fargo, N.D.; a sister, Dorothy P. Romaine of Emerson, N.J.; 15 grandchildren, Gina Jones and her husband, Mark, Donna Humphries and her husband, Tony, Paxton, Bradley and Stephen Fritsch, Samuel, Noah, Sharon, Dan, Micah, Mercy, Hannah and Sarah Schultz and Maryanna Johnson and her husband, Guy, and David Schultz; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Joseph Facura. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or POSVTC, P.O.
