Virginian Pilot September 20, 1988

Ross Edward Schumann Jr., 42, of the 1000 block of Gardenia Road, a consultant 
for Newman Homes Inc., died Sept. 19, 1988, in Kill Devil Hills.
Mr. Schumann was a native of Charlottesville.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Anne Jones Schumann; a daughter, Kelly Anne 
Schumann; a stepdaughter, Amy Cathleen Gorman; a stepson, Jason E. Gorman, all 
of Virginia Beach; his mother, Marjorie Jones Schumann of Norfolk; three 
sisters, Terri S. Warren and Laurie S. Schumann, both of Norfolk and Ellie S. 
Svec of Brunswick, Maine; and two brothers, Edward C. Schumann and Mark H. 
Schumann, both of Norfolk.  
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cox Funeral Home by the 
Revs. Charles Harrison and Charles Joy.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Norfolk.  Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral 
home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
