Curls Schweinsberg, aged 76, died yesterday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Tennis Branch, 409 Duke Street. She was a native of North Carolina and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 48 years. She was the widow of Henry Schweinsberg. Besides her daughter, she is survived by three sons, David B. Nichols, of Downsville, N.Y.; John H. Nichols, Norfolk and Robert Nichols, West Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. R.B. Cahoon and Mrs. William Anne Virginia Russell, both of Norfolk; one brother, Wilson Ayers, of Washington, N.C.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Gregory Funeral Home, Thirty-fourth and Granby Street by the Rev. W.C. Gum, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the Gregory Funeral Home, Thirty-fourth and Granby Streets, FRIDAY AFTERNOON, November 21, 1930, at 2:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Curles Schweinsburg - Funeral service for Mrs. Schweinsburg, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Tennis Branch, 409 Duke Street, was held yesterday at the Gregory Funeral Home, Thirty-fourth and Granby Streets. Services were conducted by Rev. W.C. Gum, pastor of the First Methodist Church, assisted by J. Gray Reid, of the First Church of Christ, Scientist. Silver Steam Council, Degree of Pocahontas, and members of Mooseheart Legion No. 157 attended in a body. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Linwood Barco, Ernest Barco, Reginald Padgett, Guy Vaccarella, Pat Boyce, Roy Martin, Pete Smith and Wilburn Hall.
