Virginian Pilot October 23, 1991

Mary Sciortino, 90, of the 4400 block of E. Honeygrove Court, died Oct. 21, 
1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Sciortino was born in New York City. She was a member of St. Gregory the 
Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Sciortino; two daughters, Marie C. Slevin 
and Anne M. Chrusciel, both of Virginia Beach; three sons, Joseph Sciortino, 
Paul Sciortino and James Sciortino, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elizabeth 
Williams of Long Island, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Gregory the Great 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Canice Welsh. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. 
Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Thursday and Friday in 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. A Rosary will be said Friday at 7 
p.m. in the funeral home.
