John L. Scott, 1410 45th st., died Thursday 8:50 p.m. in Lambert's Point after a
brief illness. He was the son of Mrs. Lula Scott and the late Joseph Scott.

Funeral services were Sunday, August 17, at the First Baptist Church, Lambert's
Point at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. M. C. Southerland officiating. In addition to
his mother, he is survived by two daughters, five brothers, five sisters, two
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Pretlow Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
