Melvin Scott - Funeral for Melvin Scott of 1410 45th street was held Saturday,
Dec. 12, at First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, with the Rev. M. C.
Southerland officiating. Remarks were made by the Rev. J. J. Freeman of Queen
Street Baptist Church.

Mr. Scott is survived by his mother, his widow, one daughter, one granddaughter,
five sisters, and three brothers. Pretlow’s Funeral Home was in charge of the
burial which was held at Calvary Cemetery.
