The Virginian Pilot Friday October 1, 1971
Russell Scott of 1454 W. 42nd St. died Thursday in a hospital after a short
illness.
A native of Crewe, he was the husband of Mrs. Frances Scott and a son of the
late Coleman and Mrs. Rosa M. Scott.
Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Russell Scott Jr., and a daughter, Mrs.
Laverne Scott, both of New York; and two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Jones of Norfolk,
and Mrs. Loretta Amos of Buckingham.
The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home
