Scott, aged 67, son of the late James E. and Mrs. Eva Burroughs Scott, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 12:35 o'clock. He was a native of Princess Anne County, and since his retirement from the U.S. Public Health Service several years ago, had resided in Norfolk. Surviving him are two sisters, Miss Mary B. Scott, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Freeland A. Daubin, of Honolulu; three brothers, James A. Scott, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; William R. Scott, of New Orleans, and Otto W. Scharch, of Norfolk; two nephews, George E. Baughman, of Norfolk, and Capt. James A. Scott, Jr., U.S.A., of Camp Pendleton, and a number of other nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at the residence, 5421 Walton avenue, Edgewater, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
