Mrs. Pearl Scott, 407 Middlesex street, died Monday, Dec. 24, in a Norfolk 
hospital after a short illness.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Hannah Scott of Norfolk.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. from First Baptist 
Church with Dr. J. C. Diamond officiating.

She is survived by one son, Foster Scott, Sr.,  two grandsons, Messrs. 
Foster Scott, Jr and Elbert Scott, Sr., one great grandson, Elbert Scott, 
Jr., one sister, Mrs. Estelle Scott;  one niece, Mrs. Mildred Spruiell, and 
other relatives.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pretlow’s Funeral Home in charge of 
burial arrangements.
