Norfolk Journal and Guide, Sep 23,1961
George Raymond Scott, 57, of 1216 W. 40th street, who retired from the Norfolk 
Naval Supply Center two years ago, was given a funeral service Wednesday at Rose 
of Sharon Baptist Church.

The Rev. W. F. Evans officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale 
Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Petersburg, the deceased lived in Norfolk 35 years.  He was the 
husband of Mrs. Julia Scott.
