Scott Jr., of the 1400 block of Shank St., a retired forklift operator, died March 28, 1991, in a hospital. Mr. Scott, a Norfolk native, had retired from Atlantic Paper Co. He was a Baptist. Survivors include a daughter, Robin Scott; a son, Lewis Scott III; his mother, Willie Mae R. Scott; four sisters, Ophelia Matthews, Lillian Dykes, Senora Williams and Virginia Marner; and five brothers, James A. Scott Sr., Clarence Scott Sr., James A. Scott, Joseph Scott and Thomas Scott, all of Norfolk; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Hope United Church of Christ by the Rev. James Anderson. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 1415 Shank St. at 12:30 p.m. for the procession. Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
