Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, October 15, 1994 
Mable Scott of the 1000 block of Johnstons Road, a retired domestic worker, died
Oct. 13, 1994, in a local hospital.

She was born in Norfolk and was a member of Oakwood Chapel.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Robinson of Washington, D.C.; two sisters,
Mary Smith and Fannie Spratley, both of Norfolk; six brothers, Robert J. Smith,
Herbert L. Smith, Albert J.H. Smith, William L. Smith, Roland S. Smith, all of
Norfolk, and Fred C. Smith of Virginia Beach; a grandchild, Yvonne Burke of
Norfolk, and four other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Oakwood Chapel by the Rev. C.N.
White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family at the
residence. The body will be taken to church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is
handling arrangements.
