Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 11, 2003 
Rebecca Scott, 60, of the 800 block of Onley Road, peacefully went to be with
her savior Dec. 8, 2003. She was a native of Norfolk, born to the late Isaac and
Lula Porter Scott. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and was a member of
Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Rosa Scott and Aretha Scott;
four grandchildren, Samon Scott, David Scott, Tyveon Scott and Michael Holloman;
and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday at noon in Riddick Funeral Service chapel by the
Rev. Jeremiah L. Cuffee. Viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the
funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Burial will be
at Calvary Cemetery .
